Gen Franks downplays reports of chemical plants

As I expected, the reports about the discovery of a chemical weapons plant where false. Not only general Franks denied the “coalition” is in possess of any proof, he went as far as warning about such claims “more often than not they will be based on speculation.”

My doubts were based on a couple of considerations on the alleged plant position: in or very near to the “No fly zone” and very exposed to eventual invasion; and in Shia territory.
