guys, thank you for your comments. but, did you read the bold text at the beginning of the article?

As many people have pointed out, this article contains factual errors. I will update it as soon as I have time, in the meantime be careful and don’t trust what I wrote too much

so yes I know, I realize that. this article is 2.5 years old. eventually, I’ll find time to review it, in the meantime: I know!

It’s not true, your example is wrong, the declared varible with var command inside an object aren’t shared within all the instance, this means they arent static! You can test it with the following bookmarklet:

javascript:function T(){var _v=”private”;this.get=function(){return _v;};this.set=function(v){_v=v;}}; var a=new T(); var b=new T(); a.set(”test”); alert(b.get());

I’ve got another problem….. the installation went successfully…. but after that, all my Java and Flash players was disabled…. I mean, when I wanna see something at YouTube, i got the information that these players are disabled…

WTF is going on mate!?
